It's A Fact:Researchers at the Johns Hopkins University and Berkley Labs show that children who study music show higher math scores, as well as higher SAT scores. Substance abuse is lowest in music students and music also shows benefits of teamwork from working together with other musicians, self-discipline through practicing, artistic expression, and abstract thinking. Kids who study Music do better in school and in Life! As an adult, learning to play a music instrument is a great way to expand your horizons. Whether you have played before or have never even tried, it is never too late to learn. It’s always possible to do something new, something that you have always dreamed of!
